As with all browsers there are some keyboard shortcuts in Chrome which can help make us a bit more efficient. I don’t remember that many shortcuts, so better to pick a few really useful ones than try and remember them all! This isn’t an exhaustive list – just a few that I use all the time :-
| Ctrl + Tab | Cycle to next tab |
| Ctrl + 1,2,3,4 | Select tab number 1,2,3,4 etc |
| Ctrl + T | Create new tab |
| Ctrl + Click on Link | Open link in new tab |
| Drag link to tab or space | Opens link in existing or new tab |
| Ctrl + W | Close current tab |
| Shift – Escape | Opens Chrome task manager |
| Ctrl-H | Show history |
| Ctrl-J | Show downloads |
| Ctrl-D | Bookmark page |
| Home | Top of page |
| End | Bottom of page |
| Space | Page down |
