Google Chrome keyboard shortcuts

As with all browsers there are some keyboard shortcuts in Chrome which can help make us a bit more efficient. I don’t remember that many shortcuts, so better to pick a few really useful ones than try and remember them all! This isn’t an exhaustive list – just a few that I use all the time :-

Ctrl + Tab Cycle to next tab
Ctrl + 1,2,3,4 Select tab number 1,2,3,4 etc

Ctrl + T Create new tab
Ctrl + Click on Link Open link in new tab
Drag link to tab or space Opens link in existing or new tab
Ctrl + W Close current tab

Shift – Escape Opens Chrome task manager

Ctrl-H Show history
Ctrl-J Show downloads
Ctrl-D Bookmark page

Home Top of page
End Bottom of page
Space Page down
